Great hotpot. The service was nice. Staff were very attentive and helpful to make a decision.
We were 6 people and we ate so much and the check was about $40/person including tax and tip.
There are so many different kind of food and sauces you can mix. It was great experience.
It’s great with group. But also it might be great for 1 person.
7.30.17 - Still consistently good in flavor, quality of food, and service. So great to see that it's still going strong.
*** Original Review *** The soup stock is superb (both spicy and non-spicy). We prefer the Spring Lamb or the Pork Shoulder because they cook extremely fast so it's easy to get a tender yet full flavored meal. The Beef is generally good, but not as good as the other meats. Reservations are only for 4+, otherwise you should show up before 6 PM or wait anywhere from 45-min to 2 hours.
Love love love! We just love to go there! It’s so crazy food that you want more and more! Perfect on cold or rainy time or even any time! This is our 6th time in last four month. Price little high but too much food. I don’t mind to pay.but now we decided we can go special occasions! But who know if I’m getting ready discount or craving for more soup I will go!!
32 degrees in NYC, wanted to experience something different for lunch. Chose to do the lunch special Hot Pot as advertised. 12:30pm, a couple other tables occupied, place opens it's doors for lunch at 12:00pm. Went with the Supreme Lamb Shoulder & Supreme Angus Beef and the Yin-Yang pot. It's a communal pot as opposed to the individual ones other establishments offer. The broth is very flavorful and the hot and spicy is legit. I found truth from the chopstick wrapper, you really don't need any dipping sauce. There's enough protein, vegetables, and noodles to leave satisfied. There's was only 1 server during lunch service but was attentive enough to check up on us a few times, refill our soup base and waters. 👍
This place smells and tastes so, so good! There may be a wait when you get here, but it's worth it. We had the split spicy/non spicy broth and both were good. We had the hand cut fatty beef and the lamb/beef combo, the vegetable combo basket, the mushroom combo basket and the hand (pulled?) noodles. It was more than enough for the two of us and all very good. Service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere is loud and busy. You're cooking the food in a pot at your table so it's hot. And you need to pay attention to what you're putting in the pot and for how long.
Man this is the best hot pot restaurant I've ever been in. The furnishings are all new-looking and clean. The service is fantastic - the waitstaff communicate well and constantly come by to bus your table or refill your pot and cup.
Most of all, the food is very high quality. The soup base is amazingly flavorful, we were told they simmer it for 8 hours beforehand. The ingredient are nicely prepared as well. The shrimp had the legs and spines removed for easy eating.
I'm excited that winter has only begun because I will be revisiting this place many more times while it's still cold.
Go to the little sheep in flushing. More spacious and more sauces to mix. Great service but a bit pricey. I prefer going to an all you can eat hot pot buffet for about the same price and eating till I feel sick. I walked out of here feeling less than full
Customer service is good. The hotpot stuff is OK, not so special compare to other hotpot restaurant. Soup base is Ok too. Very crowded on the weekend. They only give seatings when you have all the members arrived.
